DOBBS' DEAD
Burlington’s best Grateful Dead tribute hits Einstein’s Tap House every Tuesday night. Dobbs’ Dead isn’t your standard note-for-note cover act. Led by keyboardist Josh Dobbs, this Vermont ensemble pushes the Great American Songbook into uncharted territory through wild, unconventional Type 2 improvisation and powerhouse lead vocals that’ll floor you.
Officially formed in 2021, Dobbs’ Dead built their reputation through a Grateful Dead Tuesday residency at Nectar’s before landing at Einstein’s. Now they perform across Vermont, New England, and beyond. Any given Tuesday you might catch a special guest joining the band onstage.
